Here you will find some of my recent paintings. I have enjoyed several short courses in oils at the Norfolk School of Painting in past years,
and during the pandemic have joined in their weekly Studio Talk sessions as well as the excellent and more in depth Masterclasses on particular artists or painting styles.
BROCKTON BARN
Painted in acrylics, the image is from a photograph by Gordon Dickins, which I used with his kind permission.
ARLES ROOFTOPS
I was delighted to have this painting included in the 2019 Open Exhibition at MOMA, Machynlleth.
Painted in acrylics, it holds happy memories of our holiday exploring Provence.
WHITBY
I painted this scene after our Norfolk Painting School study of Percy Kelly's style, and thought it would be a
good way of interpreting one of our photographs from our visits to wonderful Whitby.
Painted in oils.
